Import data from a text file into Microsoft Office Excel.

    
Import data from a text file into Microsoft Office Excel.
You can import data to Excel from most kinds of text files.
 
You have your data in a text file and want to use it in excel sheet?
So you don't have to recreate data you already have.
 
Open your excel program and a new sheet.

    Click Data > Get External Data >
Import Text File.
      Click Data > Get External Data > Import Text File
              Select the text file you want to use, and then click Get Data.
                  Choose text file
    Follow the instructions in the
Text Import Wizard. Such as deliminating method for the data fields. You can determine this method during saving the text file, you may prefer tabs or commo. But don't forget not to use this delimating syntax in real content of the data  fileds.

Hints

    * The Text Import Wizard helps you select delimiters, such as commas or tabs, to make sure your text is imported correctly.
    * To view all import options, click Data > Get External Data.

If you qant to do more

    * For more data importing options, like refreshing data automatically,  click Data > Get External Data > Data Range Properties. External data  connections are also available, but not in that dialog box. Follow the Data Connection Wizard to import data using through OLE DB providers.
